At Low Tide

Their ship has come aground at low tide and the fisherman get a few hours rest. The characters in it give you the impression the women have come down to the beach to to to them. This piece is done is a classic style using deep colors. Even the sky is done in a dark blue instead of the traditional light blue. It gives the observer the feeling of evening tide and would fit very nicely in a paneled room or one done in deep colors.
